The Board

The Macular Disease Foundation Australia is governed by its Board.

All Board Members and Advisor positions are honorary.

Board Directors have a diversity of backgrounds including medicine, optometry, corporate, investment and financial fields, information technology and law. All Directors have a close association with macular disease, ranging from eye health professionals, to those with macular disease, or a family member with the disease.

The Board meets at least four times per year with an Annual General Meeting in December of each year.
